I am all for Arabs living freely, prospering economically and making good neighbors. This is what we had in the Pre-Intifada days when Arabs throughout Israel flourished especially in the territories. This bothered the PLO in Tunisia and they set out to sabotage good Arab-Jew relations and invented the intifada. Once this quieted down Hamas began with the suicide bombings which led to the check points. Before in the eighties there were no borders between Arab and Jew, no checkpoints and Arab and Jew lived and worked throughout.
This created normalcy between Arab and Jew and this is what the PLO wants to destroy. This is why they created these barriers, this terrorism was to divide our people and it succeeded.
We must give freedom but not at innocent lives expense. |
