| All of the major democracies, including America, France, and the UK have had their moments of civil disorder over the years. In some extreme cases, the force employed by the state injured or killed some protesters. I don`t mean to justify it, I only observe and comment upon it. Even if we assumed that there has murderous intent on the part of the Iranian government, we would still be left with the fact that, in the past few years, Israel and America have killed far more civilians "accidently" than Iran has killed on purpose. This is not a trivial fact, and is worthy of examination, as Israel and America take the lead in criticizing Iran. |
