What country do you suppose has the capability, Fortuna?
The US is a bit overextended what with the possible impending attack from North Korea on Hawaii or Alaska, the ongoing occupation of Iraq and the war in Afghanistan.
Sure we have the capability to destroy the entire planet. We could even make all the demonstrators in Teheran glow in the dark. So could Israel. But the US has zero capability to overturn the current Iranian government and assure a true democracy there.
So who has 200,000 spare troops to do the job? It`s a country of 70 million. China? Columbia? Germany? Think they`re interested? |
