| Could someone answer the following question. Who within the Iranian political structure has the authority to remove the supreme leader... Is he appointed for life or can the various ruling clerics vote to remove him? It seems to me that unless the major political mullahs get the courage to seriously challenge and support the protesters the momentum will possibly disapate. This is not to say it will probably go underground.... but what a time for a charamastic leader to emerge now in Iran. |
