| This would never work because Gaza is effectively already a state governed by Hamas, and funded by UN. Israel will simply say hell no, we don`t want anyting to do with Gaza. Since Israeli forces are not in Gaza, if the Palestinians declare thier failure to govern themselves there (doubt if Hamas would admit that), then either the UN or perhaps Egypt would have to fill the vacuum in Gaza. So you see, your so-called demographic "threat" is an empty one. The Palestinians would be much better off finally accepting Israel as a Jewish State (i.e. accepting that Jewish people have historic rights in the holy land), and trying for a change to be friendly to your stronger neighboor. |
