| Our President, given his use use of subordinates to either intimidate and/or engage in fraud in the 2008 election has lost any moral high ground needed to address what is happening. As for a US response, there will be none. The President`s spokesperson already compared that the US did not get involved in Hungary nor Czechoslovakia and they "turned out quite well." The fact that it took decades in each case and numerous casualties to "turn out well" seemed to elude him. He quickly bypassed the issue of Tienanmen.Fact is Obama/Clinton will do nothing because they can`t! To do so would go against every word and comment issued by them at the Cairo debacle, and every promise they made to their left wing supporters here in the US. From that point of view, once again, those truly seeking freedom are on their own with no ability to expect anything from our once-upon-a-time democracy. |
