Sexual orientation comes from God. Even if God "detests" abominable activity, the behavior still comes from Him. For example, we say baruch dayan emet for both good and bad occurrences. This is because both good and bad come from God.
My stand: homosexuality isn`t normal from biological or religious standpoints, but it isn`t a sin; only sodomy is a sin. People can`t control what they desire.
As for this idea, it`s similar to one used by congregants of the conservative shul in Ann Arbor. The crazy Jewish Witnesses for Peace protest in front of the shul, so some congregants decided to donate money to Israel in reaction. |
