A regime change in Iran would not change anything about the issues that currently exist between Iran and Israel. The Palestinian issue is still there and remain a point of contention until resolved. Iran?s nuclear program would continue, and Israel would also continue threatening to bomb Iran because of it.
Any comment by Netanyahu, Peres, Ya`alon, etc., are very counterproductive. Iranian conservatives can use it against the reformists as a propaganda tool. Claiming that Israel supports the rioters.
