| He needs to decide whether he`s Jewish or catholic - he can`t be both. If he wishes to embrace the faith of his mother, then he should do so and he will be welcomed whole-heartedly into Israel. But if he wants to continue as an ordained catholic priest, the faith of the family that betrayed him by not telling him his true religious background until adulthood, then he should be denied the privilege of Israeli citizenship & all the benefits of aliyah. Your parents would be mortified to see that you lost your Jewish soul to survive as a priest. |
