Mousavi needs the demonstrations as leverage as he has no office of state. Iranians are dying so he can negotiate from a position of strength. Ahmedinejad wants the demonstrators off the street so he can fully use the organs of state to consolidate his position.
Both know if the full weight of the state is brought down on the protestors that will be the end of the regime, they know this because that is how they came to power. So stop linking everything to Israel`s enemies.
It will come as a surprise it has nothing to do with a timpot state of 6 million who without American largesse woud be on a level with Sierra Leone. |
