A "death camp in Poland"? Mr. Snyder, please, be informed that there are no death camps in Poland, nor has there ever been any. The death camp mentioned in the article was established during the German occupation of Poland. There was not one person killed or imprisoned there after restoration of Poland. It was a German camp, and it was located on the occupied territory. Nowadays, in Sobibor there is a Museum of the Former Nazi Extermination Camp. Please, note the word FORMER. Therefore the phrase "death camp in Poland" is misleading and unfair. |
