Sooner or later the whole rotten edifice of the Islamic Republic will crash into ruins, just as occurred in the Soviet Union. Maybe not this time around. But eventually. Then real peace will at least become possible.
And in this region, Natalie, nations don`t have "friends", only interests. Right now the Sunni Gulf states prefer Israel to the regime in Iran. And the fact of the matter is that most of the regimes in the region (including Tehran`s) care far less than you or I about the Palestinians or the settlements. |
