israel has NO problem denying the unification of "palestinian" husband and wife based on one or the other`s "citizenship". this isn`t some isolated case of the husband from the west bank NOT being allowed to join his wife, or vice versa, who is israeli by birth; it`s a common method utilized by israel to encourage the one of israeli citizenship to join their spouse in the west bank...thereby relinquishing their citizenship...by israeli law as it`s applied to the palestinians.
so the question for BOTH husband and wife becomes LESS becomes that of where "the wife belongs", and MORE of what is best for their offspring.
israel`s policy is WHY they`re apart; and israel`s laws are WHY she remains in israel...
only NOW it seems that israel`s "laws" are using its "policies" against her...
