and the only terrorists activities I have seen were committed by those government-militia `Basijis`.
Many European embassies in Tehran opened their doors to care for the injured as Hospitals were unsafe (gov securities were taking the injured from Hospitals for questioning and most probably for more beating).
I have heard that the army doesn`t want to intervene as they don`t want to fire on their countrymen. Wouldn`t surprise me if the army turn against the Ayatollah and pledge their loyalty to Rafsandjani (who is still keeping quite at the moment). |
