In Israel, a young man named Gilad Shalit has been held hostage by foreigners for almost 3 years with the leader of that government condemning all, including his family members, for daring to attain his freedom. In the US, a young boy name Sean Goldman has been held hostage by foreigners for 5 years with the leader of the US condemning all, including his family members, for daring to attain his freedom. In both case, a Jewish parent is involved. In both cases, the leader wishes to appease the hostage takers- Hamas by Olmert and the Brazilian government by Obama/Clinton. The similarities are overwhelming. Ciminal charges should be prepared in both instances - governing parties suborning the rights of their own citizens for foreign appeasement.
