you forget that most of those so called Goyim have Jewish ancestry, many one fully 100% Jewish parent ( I have even met some with one Jewish parent and the other parent half Jewish)) , that they are no so relgious is not the problem, many many Jews in Israel are traditional but not religious and pick and choose what they like in religious matters or not. Much like the Zionists of old.
Self interest is a good motivator and these are not strangers. Demanding that they give their souls to an orthodox version of religious observance as proof of their allegience is not fair. They cannot be anymore religious than the average Israeli, and yet still be true to Israel. Doubt is universal, the proof is in what they do, do they serve and defend their country, do they care? Asking them to be something they are not is not right. Do they love G-d with all their heartl, soul, and mind? Who does? Who is the better man? |
