It is the behaviour of the ISraeli Government that has so angered the US intelligence community.
Even when presented with overwhelming evidence about Pollard and his activities, they continued to deny that he spied for them. Eventually a belated, begrudging acknowledgement was forced from them.
In addition, to this very day, the Israeli government refused point-blank to provide a detailed account of the information given to them by Pollard. This has caused huge problems for the US intelligence and military communities.
Pollard will never be released until the Israeli government provide this information to the US. |
