If Bibi were to tell Obama and Clinton that America`s help was no longer needed in the peace talks, that we need an ally who looks out for our interests, instead of our opponents who have 57 Arab states, as well as the EU helping them, that an ally consults, not demands, it would destroy Obama`s credibility worldwide. The Arabs would say, "if he can`t push the Jews around, why should we let him tell us what to do".
Iran and NK would begin to start laughing harder and the EU would shun him like the plague.
And if the American aid question were to arise, Bibi should say that American aid is no longer needed, but the next time that you need Israeli airspace or airbases for your military jets or naval facilities for your ships, you will need to pay us $20 billion for leases like you pay to your other allies, like Germany and Britian. |
