Trying to force others to recognize Israel as a Jewish state (though already 20% of Israel`s citizens are not Jewish) is nothing but a desperate attempt to fight demographics.
And the fact that Israel simply denies the Palestinians the right to the occupied territories with settlements does not hide the fact that what Israel asks for is a Palestinian state where every Israeli has the right to settle (and be defended by the IDF against resulting Palestinian agression) and an Israeli state where no Palestinian whatsoever has the right to live.
You can call that an offer if you like. After all you also called a construction with virtually no sovereignty a "state". |
