I think it is ashame when we no longer see the humanity of another. History is just that, history, it is something that can never be changed and will always be interpreted differently by each interpreter.

It will never be agreed upon who was at fault for the conflict, we all have our own opinions and narratives. Regardless, why must we blame the inhumane acts of today for the unclear history of yesterday?

One big hurtle for peace is conquering childish ignorance. Santa, the Tooth fairy, Easter Bunnie... they don`t exist. So lets grow up and actually look at this conflict pragmatically, like Obama has done. Why is it so difficult to acknowledge that both sides have legitamate claims to their naratives?
