The problem is that there are no good choices here. Gaza showed what the end of the occupation will likely mean. Hamas rockets from the West Bank would wreak havoc on all Israelis. I am also concerned about your references. Phil Weiss is not only against the occupation--he and his blog see the presence of Israel as a colonialist outpost. Read the blog and you will see that they do not care at all about Jewish life or Jewish lives for that matter. Quoting him undermines your argument to the overwhelming majority of American Jews. |
