The conservative movement realizes it is in great trouble. It can;t be all things to all people, and in trying to be that, it is nothing to anyone. It is a movement whose time seems to have passed. As it realizes, it kept Judaism alive in the USA to permit Orthodoxy to emerge stronger than ever
