| I`m sorry that Mr. Grossman (a novelist) has a "bogged-down, hopeless life". However, I`m not certain that the State of Israel and all its other people (those with lives that are somehow independent of Mr. Grossman`s), also have "bogged-down, hopeless lives". Of course, (not being a novelist), I could be wrong. I am very curious about something else...why would the Prime Minister of Israel feel the need to explain his national security measures to a novelist.....don`t novelists write FICTION? OK, I understand that Israelis respect people who can write books and get them published....fine. But, why fiction....Can someone explain this ? |
