Israelis ought to take a moment to learn something factual about Hamas, rather than just spout off. There are a whole host of Israeli public misconceptions of Hamas on display in these talkbacks. I assume most of this is derived from the fear mongering in our society.
Hamas doesn`t "hate" Americans - they aren`t aligned with "al qaeda" - they`ve never targeted anything but the country who occupies them (Israel). There is absolutely sound reason for them to prevent such a plot, if it`s real. The only thing that seems to smell of something that isn`t Palestinian liberation work is that they`d target Carter. |
