by proposing seperate one on ne talks. When it is apparent that the Arab states and in fact the EU and US are now proposing a holistic approach to solve the Palestinian/Syrian/Lebanese/Israeli conflict once and forall.
Since Cairo it has been painfully obvious that Netanyahu`s government cannot seriously consider any real peace proposals without Netanyahu`s coalition imploding.
So he has gone for delay and obsfucation in the hope that he can bury the two state soluti9on with something else. Currently the settlement freeze that should delay everything for a couple of months. Proposals for face to face talks will maybe delay peace for a year.
Hopefully as before Obama will slap down and Israeli proposals and ideas which stray from the roadmap. |
