Not really... your analogy is misguided! A much better analogy would be if you would have likened the Jewish people to the black population. Why? Because, like the black populations around the world, the Jewish people have been the oppressed ones for 2000 years. Not just by Europeans but by various Arabs at various times at various places. Sometimes more so, sometimes less but till very recent history, the Jewish people were second class citizens almost anywhere in the world ..
So, why do you wish the first Jewish state in 2000 years to be dominated by those who would oppress them again? |
