"There is understanding in the U.S. and in Europe with regards to the basic need to continue natural growth," Lieberman told Israel Radio, while on official visit in Europ. "We have no intention of changing the demographic balance in the West Bank and establishing facts on the ground."
It had to be Lieberman telling Israel radio that the EU and US are understanding of natural growth. Because let`s face it, no EU or US official is going to say that, basically because it`s not true.
I`d also be interested to see the reaction of a polygrapg if Lieberman was tied up to it, while making his statement about Israel having no intention of changing the WB demographic balance and creating facts on the ground.
The whole settlement enterprise has been about that. The interior minister is alsready said to be changing the rules to allow maximum growth under the label of `natural growth`.
Sorry Lieberman, you`re still a liability as a foreign minister. |
