Most here are too young to remember the Prague Spring. I was in high school then.
But the Czechs would not have pressed so hard for freedom if they hadn`t been encouraged and misled into thinking the WEST would challenge the Soviets militarily. Johnson was tied up with Vietnam and had no ability to help. The Europeans had no stomach for it.
Those arguing for intervention play into the hands of the Ayatollahs and the theocracy. They do NO FAVORS for the people of Iran.
This is a Persian matter and must be resolved by the people of Iran.
