You`ve got it the wrong way round. As the Americans are insisting, Israel must first resolve the settlement issue. Then there will be a Jewish state that has fixed, non expanding borders that can be recognised. No one can agree to a state today when that state has expanded its territory tomorrow. Israel must decide where its borders begin and end. |
