Just what is Gideon Levy smoking, to write such a ridiculous article?
From the time of Moses, Israel has been a land of conquests, belonging to those strong enough to hold it. The Jews have re-conquered Israel
and they must stay strong enough to hold it.
Levy`s complaint that the Palestinians (Roman assigned name) were not referred to as a people,is ridiculous. There never was a Palestinian people, only competing tribes, including Jews who were resident in the area that the Romans had renamed Palestine.
For anybody, including Levy, to suggest that it is permissible for Muslims, including Palestinians, to not recognize Israel as a nation is outrageous. Non-Jewish tribes resided in a state of Israel, under Israel rule, before the Roman conquest. |
