What Netanjahu is proposing is not a Palestinian state but a protectorate under Israeli control. According to his idea the "Palestinian State" would have even less rights than a federal republic inside of Germany or an American state like Texas.
And making new demands (recognition of the state of Israel by the palestinians not being enough he is now asking for recognitiopn of Israel as a Jewish state) while complaining about the Palestinians supposedly making new demands is making it very clear that peace is the last thing Netanjahu wants. |
