Israel`s prime minister proposed an accommodation of peaceful coexistence with its Muslim-Arab neighbors based on Israel`s right to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people, based on UN resolution, and based on Israel`s right to defensible accommodation, it being a UN member state whose neighbors have attempted to wipe it off the face of earth since its very inception.
The White House considered Netanyahu`s a very constructive step towards peace. The Palestinian Authority, by contrast, lashed at Netanyahu`s stretched-out hand to peace saying "not a single Palestinian will talk peace with Israel for the next thousand years" based on the principles he expressed.
In other words, Israel has no right to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people and has no right to defend itself if to listen to Saeb Erekat`s statement, rejecting once again an Israeli peace offer…!!! |
