| I think the consensus among the majority of Israelis is that it was a great speech. Resolution 242 requires a resolution of the "refugee problem," not the "Arab refugee problem" as the Soviets wanted. That means the Arabs have to pay $4 billion for the stolen property to the Jewish victims, who outnumbered by far the Arabs who fled the land. Demilitarized state is Bhutan and everyone understands why India wants it that way. The Arabs aren`t getting Jerusalem ever. If they understand all this, sure we can talk. |
