He would like in light of Netanyahu`s speech for the subject of a Palestinian State to be dropped from the media. Obviously his polls in the US are showing a greater understanding of the predicament of the Palestinian people amongst the American taxpayer who funds the settlement enterprise.
But the really interesting thing is Obama`s response to the acceptance by Netanyahu of a Palestinian State living peacefully alongside the State of Israel.
No mention of netanyahu`s redlines and pre-conditions just Netanyahu`s acceptance of a two state solution to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.
Interesting times, I think Netanyahu has just walked into the trap set by the International Community. No turning back now. |
