some parts of the israeli strategy and politics i guess i will never understand, mesured against the goal of a secure state that is both jewish and democratic - a goal that i support fully!
do the israeli government really belive that it is in the interest of the state to keep on insisting on principles that reached a dead end a decade ago, that is fueling palestinian symphaties on a global level, motivating the US to reconsider their definition of "national interests" on the highest level, jepordizing the security of israeli civilians....the list goes on and on.
the tactics of creating facts on the ground has outplayed its role and has begun to back-fire in a scale that requires new policies to be implemented - for the sake of the israeli and palestinian people |
