| So 50% of Israelis think the US will just say "never mind" about the settlements? What are they going to do when the US gets nasty about being ignored? It is critical for the US future to get the I/P problem fixed before it explodes and hakes life for most Americans intolerable. The status quo can NOT continue, so to avoid a massive war, the US is going to push hard on Israel. The Palestinians have nothing left to give, everything has to come from Israel and the US will get what it wants one way or another. The time left to avoid a massive war that Israel will lose is very short and everyone but the Israelis knows it. |
