I tend to believe the version of Colonel (res.) Ze`ev Raz. This is just another typical example of the Israeli macho and ego competition to be "number one, no freier". This graving for glory and personal ambition could have put the whole so carefully planned operation at risk.

We see this phenomenon - lack of discipline and self control - on a daily basis in the traffic on the Israeli roads, unfortunately it apparently exists on a higher level in the air as well. Usually higher educated, but our glory boys seem to finally have the same basic mentality. Nevertheless, "col ha-kavod" to all and keep up the good work.
