Analysts tell us that the Iranian President doesn`t have real power over the nuclear issue and many other things, but the Supreme religious leader holds ultimate power.
So Ahmadinejad is little more than a clown run amok. In the world arena, his wild statements do great harm to Iran. Israel benefits from him by being able to point out his craziness and presenting him as the new Haman (or Hitler - - take your pick).
What will Israel do without him? A more sane looking president will continue nuclear activities but stop the anti-Semitic propaganda that backfires and harms only Iran. Without Ahmadinejad the nuclear program will be far more dangerous because the world will turn its attention to other things. |
