zionism is not a poitical party! Any one can not be a zionist. Zionism is a movement of the jewish people whose only purpose is the establishment of the homeland for the jewish people in Israel. Since the creation of the state of Israel the movement continues primarily as the suport of the continued existance of the state of Israel. The movement does not seek to discriminate against anyone. Jews accepted the UN partition plan of the reduced Plestine in 1948 and were perfectly happy to live with Arabs side by side then and now. |
