Tamar thank you so much for the link. Wow it`s an intense little monologue. As a woman I could envision an Israeli mother struggling with this crazymaking scenario as she tries to protect her child both physically and emotionally while struggling with her inner mother who whether openly or subconsciously empathizes with the Palestinian mother. We are part of a select group that whether we realize it or not hurts when we see any mother or child suffer. The Nazi reference...I`ll probably be crucified for saying this...is appropo without in any way diminishing the horrors of WWII. It is not uncommon in societies for the oppressed to become the oppressors as in the case of the Palestinian issue. It`s an analogy that shows how mothers through the ages teach their children the "darkness" in order to equip them in their current reality. In my ideal world I would like to see 1000 mothers from each side meet at the border where they would find that they are no different from one another
