I have repeatedly stated that Israel does not have a politician with the required calibre to pick up the cudgel laid down by Obama in Cairo and carrying it forward to achieve a lasting peace for the Israeli people. A peace the majority of Israelis want.
What is being reported today only serves to strengthen my opinion.
What the politicians of Israel do not realise is that there could be an exodus just as big as if Iran went nuclear, if a just permanent peace demanded by the world is not forthcoming. You can guarantee the security of a state whilst imposing sanctions, including travel restrictions on people residing in Israel. |
