| I was there at the mass and it was a challenge for us to get tickets, despite my husbands family are Catholics born and raised in Jerusalem. Many other Christians that I spoke with said they wanted to attend but their churches only had a few tickets and could not give them to all the members. Actually at the Mass in Jerusalem there were more media people than actual indigineous Christians. It was ridiculous to see them circling the crowd, looking for "real Arab Christians" to interview or photograph. Also the lack of seating and air-conditioning and shade may have played a part in how many people attended. We left early because it was so uncomfortable. |
