Did you forget about our declaration of "Naaseh V`nishma". Does our committment of the past mean nothing to you. Are you shirking the responsibilities, we have accepted upon ourselves as a people, on behalf of all of us Jews. Yes, it is an option, it is a choice, but not at all similar to Catholicism or Christianity. Here we have a covenant with G-d. Here we have made a commitment. G-d`s statement of U`bacharta bachaim does not come without consequences.
