| I would also like to add, and this is very upsetting to me, but true. Israel is not longer a JEWISH state. It is primarily Jewish, for not at least. For the last 10 years the russians have been coming. Most of them are not Jewish, they will tell you they are not Jewish and they do not want to be Jewish. Im not talking about halacha. Im talking about what they do, how they do not learn Hebrew, how they do not want to live in a Jewish state. They want to live in a democratic state. So the days of Israel being a Jewish state are already limited, regardless of the techinicalities of its name and her history. More importantly, the law of return is somewhat irrelevant. Perhaps it should also be removed? We are destroying ourselves by our immigration. |
