| If you want to see an example of the antithesis of Judiasm take a look at the link "new short film". These are obviously a group of completely uneducated spoiled jewish college students. Birthrite Israel paid for their trip (hopefully they will have the $ reimbursed back as it was obviously wasted on this group). It seems like yesterday when I spent a year professional (Medical)serving Israel, however it was almost 25 years ago. I have returned for brief visits a few times, and enjoy engaging Israelis young and old on politics. Most Israelis are thoughtful in discussion regardless of their views. Are the ignorant statements by Rabbi Friedman and young Americans common thought of the college generation of 2009 or religated to a minority. As a longtime resident of the upper west side in Manhattan, it seems like a small minority, but I am no longer familiar with the American diaspora as well as the surrounding suburbs. Obama won 80% of the jewish vote, and it made me proud. Hope?!! |
