| This is disturbing. In any eviction, whether the occupant is right or wrong, only the state has the power to physically eject someone. A private person is not empowered to do it. When the settler was asked to leave, he had the obligation to leave. He had no power to waive his gun around, push anyone, or shoot anyone, and if he did so as the indictment said, he committed an assault. It is incredible that the prosecution is dropping this case. This should not be. I am and remain an ardent Zionist, and I find this sickening. |
