Modern Israel as created after the holocaust; ancient Israel had consecutive kingdoms for 1,100 years and kept jewish majority through several occupations and expulsions up until Salah Din`s conquest from Arabia in the 600s CE.
Some Jewish communities hung on here right up until modern times, for millennia, making them the oldest Jewish communities in the world - and some are in Judea and Samaria (the "West Bank").
Omitting Jewish history in Israel when referring to Israel is one thing, not too friendly, but omitting any reference to the million Middle Eastern Jews who were made refugees, kicked from surrounding states to modern Israel, also stinks.
The non-Jewish Palestinian refugees in the Mideast were mentioned - why not the Jewish ones? Because they don`t scream for their stolen lands back?
It`s not that I don`t like Obama. It`s that this bias indicates the he doesn`t like Jews, or at least their ancient presence and connection to the Middle East and Israel. |
