| Nothing good can come out of Palestinian infighting. The challanges ahead of the Palestinians are insurmountable even without the divisions of the heart and sould of the Palestinians. Hamas and Fatah must both consider what is best for the Palestinians rather than what is best for their own group. New open and free elections should be conducted as soon as possible and the the people decide. The conditions today for both Hamas and Fatah are much different than they were during the last election. Both have lost credibility to a great degree. There is an historic opportunity ahead of them that they can not afford to squander. |
