This is good news, you cannot condemn a country`s nuclear aspirations, when completely ignoring and accepting the others.
However, on foresight, a denuclearized Middle East would simply be an open invitation for Iraq-style invasions carried on by foreign nations. This because the dissuasive force would be completely eliminated.
Nonetheless, while we cannot ignore USA`s clout, we can only question its authority to demand anything, if USA itself doesn`t invest great effort in reducing the global arms race for nuclear/biological/chemical/bio-chemical weapons, by curving its own arsenal and ambitions.
Hopefully Obama will have in mind, and learn to lead by example, rather than dictating law without addressing its own horrible flaws. |
