Benn`s article is condescending. He recognizes that the Graying orator`s media skills have put Netanyahu on the spot ,forcing him to change tack unless of course the Cairo speech will somehow turn to be the usual diplomatic drivel.
The Cairo speech of course dared to mention `the occupation` and the `aspirations of the Palestinians`, 2 subjects that have really nothing to do with the situation on the ground... Benn`s is a clost supporter of Netanyahu`s policy and part of the Israeli media propaganda machine that tries to subliminally prime the public against the dismantling of the settlements as part of a comprehensive peace agreement with the Palestinians. |
